This is a contemporary High School romance
Which starts with a crash and ends with a dance!
Black ice and a lost dog were the start
But injuries sustained tore dreams apart.

Ironic that black ice wrecked Ryan "Preach" Armstong's dream
Of going to college as part of their Ice Hockey team.
Now he's not sure what he's going to do
And family secrets put him in turmoil, too.

Grace was rescuing a dog but got injured, too,
Her crushed hand feels strange, what should she do?
These two have community service to do together

This competitive pair have injuries and pain,
