This is another story involving the Little Duck Pond Café I'm so happy to return there, I have to say! The setting, regular characters and events, too, All play their parts along with others who are new. Clara Bowes is helping bring up her young brother As her step-mum certainly doesn't act like his mother! Clara visits her Gran's home and is shocked to discover Her garden is full of weed and the lawn needs a mower! Her Gran is in hospital and now Clara decides to try To sort out the garden, but in secret - you'll soon know why! She wasn't expecting anyone to volunteer but it seems When her teen crush Rory offers, she's following her dreams. With a dysfunctional family, and surprises, too, This story is the start of a trilogy I recommend to you. With talks of following your dreams and taking chances It is a story full of twists and possible romances! I'm now looking forward to reading the next part To see if Clara will get to follow her heart. For my complementary copy of this book I give a huge thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and this is my honest review
When Clara Bowes transforms a wilderness of a garden, she isn’t expecting to reconnect with someone special from her past at the same time. Having Rory Angel in her life again is a dream come true. But life is never straight forward – especially in matters of the heart – and soon, a devastating revelation looks set to bring Clara’s hopes for the future crashing down around her. Will she find the strength to reach for her dreams?
Rosie’s series of novellas is centred around life in a country village cafe. Look out for ‘A Winter Wish’, published in October, the second book in a heart-warming trilogy centred around peacemaker Clara, who’s having to cope with the demands of her slightly dysfunctional family while searching for her own happy-ever-after . . .
The third book in the trilogy is ‘Clara’s Christmas Magic’, out in November 2022.
