This is the twenty-fourth book set around the Little Duck Pond Café They're all brilliant, I just have to say. This is the second in a trilogy centred on Clara and her family Which is dysfunctional but may be healing as readers soon see. Clara's step-sister Lois, I really didn't like, I have to say But her young half-brother is delightful full of fun and play Worries about her step-Mum and Gran, too. This family has lots to work its way through! Having dreams they'd love to follow But things not working out leaves them feeling hollow. Add in potential romances, thwarted by fate Can they find their way together before it is too late? This story if filled with family drama and so much more A brill read, now the next book I need to explore! A great addition to this series, I have to say, One I highly recommend to you today! For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you, A great read and this is my honest review.
With her new-found happiness unexpectedly crushed, Clara is struggling to move forward. It’s hard – especially with step-sister Lois bouncing around the place with joy and making all sorts of plans for the future. And when the household is shocked by a mysterious break-in and a neighbour makes a shocking accusation, Clara finds herself in an impossible position. It’s a situation that threatens to destroy her blossoming romance almost before it’s begun . . .
