Somewhere to review books I'm reading without giving away any spoilers!

Gorgeous, heartwarming #Romance – The Matchmaker and the Cowboy by Robin Bielmen – brilliant read!

My Review:

What a delightful small-town romance this proved to be
With Callie Carmichael returning from overseas
Only to find her family are away, their home a building site
She needs somewhere to stay, at least for tonight.

Her friend comes to the rescue, offering her a place to stay
And keep an eye on her brother, Hunter, who is in a bad way.
He's had an allergic reaction and needs taking care
There's no romance between them - is there?

He's hot, single, eligible and trouble,
She's always assumed he's danger at the double.
However, staying and getting to know him now
Changes her view of him dramatically somehow.

Callie's a dressmaker with a special reputation, it's true,
Her Maid of Honour dress wearers soon end up marrying, too!
Now Hunter has asked her to make him a suit, too,
As he's looking for love and saying, "I do!"

As these two get to know each other more,
And options and rivalries start to explore,
Is he going to be able to change her anti-marriage mind
By being himself, so thoughtful, patient and kind?

A gorgeous, heartwarming read
It really was just what I need.
With a brilliant community, close knit friends,
The kind of story in which I like my time to spend.

For my copy of this lovely book, I say thank you,
As I share with you my honest review.

Callie Carmichael has a gift for making bridesmaid dresses—some even call them magical. Somehow, every person who’s worn one of her dresses has found love. Real love. And as long as that happily-ever-after is for someone else, Callie is happy. Because she’s fully over getting her heart broken…which is why her new roommate is definitely going to be a problem.

After being overseas for six months, Callie’s only choice is to stay with her best friend’s ridiculously hot brother, Hunter Owens. Cowboy, troublemaker, and right now, the town’s most coveted bachelor. Only, Hunter isn’t quite the player she thought. And if it weren’t for her whole “no more love” thing, their setup could get confusing really fast.

Now, Hunter wants Callie to make him a best man suit—a “lucky for love” kind of suit. But what happens if she makes the suit and he finds true love…and it isn’t her?

Each book in the Windsong series is STANDALONE. This is the second book in the series and I have previously read and reviewed the first one, too:
