There are still several hundred books on my Kindle still awaiting my attention but I keep finding others by totally new-to-me authors from a variety of sources now, especially via NetGalley and a variety of publishers and blog tour organisers. Some of the books are not published yet but I have been given access to advance reader copies (ARCs) of them so I can let you know what I think of them before they reach the shops! In many such cases I now schedule my blog about them to appear on or within a week of the date they are due to be published – hence sometimes you’ll find I post several reviews in one day and many book reviews are scheduled months in advance of to coincide with their publication date. Whatever the source, I will always give my very honest review.
If you are an author or publisher and you’d like me to read (or listen to the audiobook version) and give an honest review of a book, feel free to contact me and, if it appeals and time permits, I’ll give it a read and review! I do warn you, though, that I will be honest in my review and I currently have a large to be read pile so I tend to only agree to read ones I think I’ll thoroughly enjoy – life’s too short to spend time struggling to read something I’m not connecting to IMHO, sorry!
If you are a reader and have a particular favourite you think I’d like me to read and review, feel free to comment and let me know. I do have other books to read but will prioritise the NetGalley ones first and, if these get few in number, I’ll add others from my Kindle and book pile that are waiting in reserve!
I am trying to leave more spaces in my schedule for 2021 so I can have more time to read some of the fantastic books I have in my ever growing tbr pile and to lower the number I still have from NetGalley that I haven’t managed to read yet because of too many other commitments. Here is a list of blog tours and special posts scheduled to be posted in the next few months . . . . sorry but don’t be surprised if this isn’t totally up to date as I’ll only update this list when I remember! I no longer list all the books here that I have already read and reviewed, so there will be many additional ones that I just post the review for. None of the reviews will be available until the scheduled date. I try not to publish reviews too long before the book is available, so many reviews for books not featuring in a tour will be scheduled for their actual publication date over the next few weeks and months – just check my home page to read them. I also add other reviews as I read other books (or listen to audiobooks)- but only if time permits and at the moment, as you’ll see, there are lots scheduled. Entries marked with tbc or ? are ones I’ve signed up for but not had my participation confirmed when I last updated the list! I also tend to use summaries on the ones that I haven’t read yet – so if you see BT that’s Blog Tour, R is Review, E is for an extract/excerpt, CR is Cover Reveal, POB is a pre-order blitz (or POA Pre-order alert, depending on the tour organiser!) S is spotlight, GP Guest Post and AI Author Interview.

Hi there. Found your website through writing pal, Roni Hall. I really like your delivery and premise. My first book came out in June 2015 with Soul Mate Publishing. It’s Women’s Fiction and is titled Maggie’s Way. I have cover quotes from Jane Porter and Lori Nelson Spielman and was wondering if you’d like to read it for a review. I’d be happy to gift you an ebook or send you a paperback. Here’s my website info if you’d like to check it out.

Hello Elaine!
I so appreciate the wonderful things you are doing on behalf of us authors to get our names and brain children out to the world. I would love to have you review my YA historical novel (set during the American Civil War), which includes sub-plots of romance and adventure and which was published in 2012. It’s titled Sweet Glory, and its sequel, Train to Glory, will be released this coming May 10th through distribution (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.). If you would like to check out Sweet Glory, it’s available on Amazon at:

Thanks for your time and consideration of my story, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Lisa
P.S. I discovered you and your website via the Amazon Discussion Boards and the tremendous review you did for Rarity of the Hollow by Robert Eggleton.

Hi Elaine,
Thank you for all you do to help authors get our names out there! I would love to have you read/review my award-winning Young Adult Paranormal/Urban Fantasy novel XODUS. In short, XODUS is about a girl who discovers she can astral project and tries to use her new ability to find her mother, who disappeared two months prior.
You can find the book’s Goodreads page and official blurb here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28483134-xodus
I am happy to provide an e-book in your preferred format (PDF, MOBI, or EPUB).
Thank you for your consideration. I hope to hear from you soon!
