My Review:

This is a lovely second chance romance involving two rodeo stars, barrel racer Ivy Wyckoff and rodeo champion Sam Wyatt. Two years ago they split up but when Sam learns she’s in town he has to check up on her. He can tell she’s in trouble but she’s initially reluctant to admit what happened after they split up. Sam, however, is determined to help keep her safe as he’s never stopped loving her. Get ready for a threatening ex, disappearing money, a supportive family and plenty of surprises in this delightful romance.

This is the second book in this series about the Wyatt brothers but I can honestly say it works well as a standalone as I haven’t read the first one, Montana Cowboy Romance, yet. It has great characters and I particularly liked some of the twists in it as Sam reveals some secrets he’s been keeping. I’m hoping that some of the questions raised regarding Ivy’s investments and the missing money will be answered in future books in the series. The writing flows gently, and there are some fantastic descriptions bringing the scenarios to life and making this an easy read to escape into.

Thank you to Tule Publishing for my copy of this book which I have read voluntarily and reviewed honestly.

It’s almost Christmas and nationally-ranked barrel racer Ivy Wyckoff has returned home to Montana desperate for a miracle. A cowgirl to her bones, she’s always solved her own problems, but when her ex—rodeo champ, Sam Wyatt—shows up offering more than a shoulder to cry on, Ivy’s tempted to grab the safety line he throws.

Sam Wyatt just wrapped his most successful year on the PRCA circuit. After long days and even longer nights, all he wants is a quiet holiday on his family’s Paradise Valley ranch…until he sees Ivy again. He can tell she’s in trouble. They may have called it quits two years ago, but she’s the one woman he regretted walking away from.

Sam will do anything to keep Ivy safe, including putting a ring on her finger and sharing his name with her this Christmas.
