Well, the last book I reviewed in 2021 was by this author and I decided to start of 2022 with another of his gorgeous books . . . . they definitely leave me with a smile on my face!
All her working life Maggie has been a cleaner in hotels and private homes. Maggie cleaned for actress Helen Heacham’s parents until their deaths, when Helen moved Maggie up to London to take care of her home. Helen lives in a beautiful terrace in Kensington along with famous and not so famous neighbours. Actors, writers, models and businessmen; they all seem to need a cleaner and that’s when Maggie’s adventure starts.
It’s not just Maggie’s life that’s changing but big things are happening for the other residents in the terrace; success, romance and fraud, but most of all friendship.
Aged sixty-four, Maggie likes looking after others and getting things done. She's been a cleaner for years and likes gossiping and fun She keeps a diary telling of her clients and what they get up to And in this fun read, she shares it all with me and you. Living in a terrace in Kensington, London She helps many residents get their cleaning done. From a Lady to the famous and others less well known She strives to ensure they each have a happy and clean home. However, although she may be their cleaner, she also really cares And always, with her clients, her friendship also shares. This leads to changes and adventures of many a different kind As new roles, new starts and some true love will soon find! It is such a great read, with Maggie's voice telling you all Insightful, fun and romance, too, as they all have a ball. I really enjoyed reading it from the start right to the end And after doing so, feel like Maggie is truly a best friend. If you're looking for a fun read, with great characters, too, I can't recommend this book highly enough to you. There are diverse characters living in the terrace where As Maggie brings them together, they show they really care.
Happy new year! 🎆

I like the sound of this one Elaine. This is an author I am not familiar with, but will see if I can find any of his books. Great review.
