Beltane Bliss by Lilliana Rose

Beltane Bliss (Pagan Pleasures Book 1)

Edi Court is training to be a modern-day white witch, her unique ability is healing. Emotionally wounded from her ex, Anto, she has run away from the covenant with a need to heal herself. Following her psychic ability, she finds herself south, along the coast from Melbourne Australia, where she decides to set up her own healing shop, Crystal Sands.

Voltaire is a down to earth guy, a plumber by trade, he believes only what he sees in the physical world. The loss of his mom and sister to breast cancer and his ex, who stole his money and left him with a debt to work off, has caused him to close his heart.

Can Edi stop herself from rescuing another man and landing in deep water? Or with the Beltane energies thick in the air, can this be the start of a new relationship between two wounded souls?

Volt must become a believer in the Magiks and allow his heart to heal. And Edi must learn to trust herself again.

Will a non-believer and a believer find love over Beltane?

My Review:

I’d had a rather heavy going read prior to it and this was such a lovely easy, fun, paranormal story – it was just what I needed! It tells the story of Edith (Edi) Court, someone who had been training to be a white witch until she  ran away from her manipulative ex and her family, going where her psychic intuition take her. She stops at a coastal community, along the coast from Melbourne. There she’s led to a shop that’s to let and imagines setting up her own healing shop in it. Trusting her own abilities and fate, she agrees to let the property. She’s helped in this by Voltaire (Volt), who convinces his brother to let her rent it – for half the rent that was originally being asked!

Get ready for paranormal presences endeavouring to prevent her from setting up shop there and lots of laughs, too in this romance which Beltane makes all the hotter. It is a story of learning to trust and accepting yourself, following your intuition and finding love. There’s grief and danger to be overcome and beliefs to be re-developed. It is a great start to the Pagan Pleasures series and I really look forward to reading more titles in future!

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book and this is my honest review after choosing to read it and thoroughly enjoying doing so. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fast paced but relaxing Magik romance to escape into!
